So you are crafty too. Awesome. I tried some of this long ago, but didn't have much luck getting clean breaks.
Yeah, we just purchased a kit that helps to score a straight line. So you score it and then you dip in hot and cold water until it snaps. It takes a little practice, but it is pretty fun!
