Pretty tree!
We still have no clue what this big tree in our back yard that looks like it belongs in Africa actually is.
But there's a little one next to it which is exactly the same and if I move off to California, I'm takin' it with me.
I need my Africa tree:)
Are you sure it is not a baobab tree? look them up, that may be what it is.
Hmm, I can't be positive, but the trunk would suggest otherwise.
Perhaps in time it would look more like one.
My mom thinks it might be a box elder.
The pictures I took of it were in spring, but it gets fuller in the summer.

Not sure if you've done this or not but since you are living in Ann Arbor check out the Huron Clinton metroparks. There's 13 of them throughout southeast Michigan and they're pretty nice. Only catch is it's 5 bucks to go in.
